The clock is ticking…

I’m diving back into Drucker’s Effective Executive. It’s a profound read and one I highly recommend. One of the key tenents Drucker talks about is knowing one’s time. There’s no doubt time is becoming harder and harder to come by. Email, texts, social media, meetings, etc etc. 24 hrs a day, 168 hrs a week is all we have. Drucker is spot on that if you’re not aware of where your time is going then it’s probably not going to the right places. I like to call it high impact work. Do you know your time?  Are you tired of working on everyone else’s agenda?  If so, you may want to track it for a bit (even a day or two) to see where you’re spending your time. Good luck. This time thing isn’t easy. But it’s that important. Thank you Mr. Drucker for reminding me!
